Starbreeze-owned Overkill Software has today announced Payday 2, the sequel to PS3 and PC-only downloadble rob 'em up, Payday: The Heist.
With 505 Games on publishing duties, Payday 2 will be coming to Xbox 360 with single-player and four-player co-op, while the original Payday crew of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains head off to Washington DC to embark upon an "epic crime spree".
Featuring four different criminal professions to choose from, namely the Mastermind, the Enforcer, the Ghost and the Technician, Payday 2 features an in-depth customisation tree for each, with all manner of weapons and mods, mask customisation options, upgrades and mission assets to play with.
Each heist will have randomly-generated dynamic events to keep you on your toes, meaning robbing banks with friends will never be the same experience twice. There's an AI director too, ensuring that things stay fresh and unpredictable.
Payday 2 will be pulling a wave of bank jobs on the Xbox Live Arcade in summer 2013.
