Destiny is set to enter beta on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in late July, according to a new trailer for the game.
Originally spotted by VideoGamer, the date is shown on a slate at the end of a video currently viewable via the Xbox One dashboard. Xbox Live Gold is required, though that's hardly surprising seeing as the PlayStation version will require PS Plus. Access to either version requires you to have pre-ordered.
Destiny's beta has already been confirmed to hit PS4 and PS3 first on July 17, so this suggests Sony consoles will be enjoying around two extra week's worth of exclusivity. There's also a lot of PlayStation exclusive content heading to Destiny, though rumours suggest it'll only remain off Xbox until autumn 2015.
Bungie is going big with Destiny, the first game from the studio since it parted ways with Microsoft and the Halo franchise. And Activision believes in the MMO first-person shooter, putting $500 million into the game’s development and promotion.
