We all want to change.
No matter how strong our faith is, we all yearn for that change.
Most of the time, the momentum for that change appears at night.
When we are released from the stress of every day life and have time
to reflect upon the things in our lives we don't perceive as right (lol at that rhyme)
This poem is an expression of these yearnings that hunt most of us at night...
Old Soul Lost, Young Life The Cause
As I inhale the last
breaths
b4 fading in2 the other half
of my consciousness
I accidently step
on the cable
of my connection
2 the reality of this planet
pullin' it out!...
as the screen turns all red...
contemplating upon death
while taking the song
my heart may play
2morrow 4 granted
Old soul lost, young life the cause
the blessings
that 2day has brought
get overlooked
by the wrestling
between the principles
of my mind
& the pleasures
of my corpse
As I neglect 2day's lessons
I lay & wonder
if my future-me will live out
the prayer I've just thought
or if I'll stay under
the sea of my mysterious misery
& live the young life
of an old soul that's lost...
