red in the rainbow

bring me to light now the clouds have faded
neon colors in the sky
spectrums of truth in a world thats missing brightness
visions of beauty in a greyed out world
golden dreams and green pastures of past lives
blue cold mornings and orange sunsets of things past and yet to be
eyes purpled from sleepless nights and angry fights
and red
shades of life and loss
light and dark
meaning life and death
I see red in the rainbow
pink flesh mottled from believing
a glimpse of hope or a last look at life
red in the rainbow

Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, he doesn't even seem to be livin'... until he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin
Where blood has been shed the tree of forgiveness cannot grow
