thats the main difference. Japan is stricter imo, its treated as hard drug and the general public acknowledge as a "drug" equivalent to meth, heroin, etc, so its like forbidden apple. You be scolded etc and if u get arrested, its a felony and your name will be on all up on the media, knowing that Japan is an "island", once u get caught, you will be labeled as a "drug addict" "criminal", you be terminated from the society, like literally (esp if ur in a corporate/college). I know one mfer (he was my classmate) that got connection but its ridiculously expensive and it is hard to really find a safe spot. Knowing this ignorance of Japanese system/society, its just not worth it lol... Its funny tho, the Japanese law states that it is forbidden to possess, but to get high off weed is not. So for instance, if u get caught high without havin weed on u, police cant arrest u however, u b marked but also if ur workin for a corporate, u will get fired lmao so either way, its hell...... its pretty fuked up. cuz jap love tobacco but they "hate" weed or have this stereotype... tobacco got higher addiction danger than weed kek. i dont get most societies rules anyway, alcohol for example is legal and imo worse than weed, i never feel good while drinking. with weed you can chill atleast and watch the time fly.
