A short poem that has a meaning to me. The ripples are hangovers and the silence. The waves are the euphoria of alcohol, and when the fire goes silent. You wonder if it was all worth it, just for a couple hours of ''feelin good''

The Ripple In The Silience

Thr ripplies in the silence
Are life living on a wave.
One minute
You're scared to death.
The next
You are saved.
The ripples in the silence
Are like living in a cave.
When there's a fire
You are warm & cozy
But if the fire goes out
You are cold & lonely.

Within the ripples of the silence
I live within myself.

Within the ripple of the silence
All I need
is a little help.
