The Summer Remix competition
We are very proud to announce our new Remix Competition, yes we have tried it before but we believe now as we have many more remixers and dj’s onsite that now is the time to reboot the idea but bigger and better than ever…!.
Main Information
- Every member/producer/dj/remixer is able to compete with this tournament.
- The acapella used for this competition is the full unleaked War Gamez.
PM me for the layers if you are participating in the compeition.
The Mixed acapella is Here
- No featured artists are to be added, only use War Games acapella. But you can use vocal samples and do whatever you want with the hooks.
- The tournament will start the Sunday the 24th Of July. The Deadline to submit your mixes is Friday the 12th of august.
- PM the remixes to LarsVerb , and don’t upload them in this topic. People that upload remixes in this topic will not be considered or entered in this tournament.
- After the deadline, we will upload the tracks without any tags or names of the remixers/dj’s, and the public voting can start. The voting will end on Saturday the 20th of August.
Some other Rules
- The entrants of this competition need to keep their mouth closed. So don’t tell people what your mix is, so they can vote on it. Not on 2Pac-Forum, not on youtube, not any internet site or social network. So there will be no friend votes. We want that people really vote on the remix they like the most and not because they are friends with that one.
- Don’t post your remixes on other websites before the voting is ended.
- Staff can’t compete.
- Only use the War Gamez acapella, so no guest artists beside the original artists on the acapella. But you can cut and paste the acapella. For example people can make a solo 2pac war gamez remix or delete some outlawz verses. That’s the choice of the remixer.
- Only new remixes, never released/dropped. So no old remixes.
- Selfmade productions are allowed, aswell blend remixes (mixes with already existed instrumental from other artists).
Instrumentals/beats are not allowed when:
* these are real 2pac instrumentals
* remakes of 2pac instrumentals
* instrumentals that using melody's/musicsamples used in 2pac's original songs (the main music samples from pac songs) drums are not a problem!
- Sign up in this topic. Please write in the thread if you want to participate in this remix competition so we have an idea on the amount of participants.
We know we can’t stop this cheating 100%. But when we hear or see people are promoting there song and ask people to vote on it, will get a ban from this tournament and future tournaments. People that break the other rules will be banned from the competition aswell.
Prizes
- The Number 1, 2 & 3 will get a very nice signature made by Draven.
- The winner will get a US original pressing from 2pac’s debut album 2Pacalypse Now sent to you, the postage paid by us (of which you will have to take a photo when you receive and put on the forum)
- The winner remix will be used in the future Christmas 2Pac-Forum mixtape as an extra bonus..!
