yo that is my first mix ever, i like the immortal version that we all have, BUT in my opinion my mix sounds better, i cant stand all those effects of immortal i dont know why, i mixed it and found out it really sounds better, so dont post something like u missed some layers or something like that, it was my choice

for your first mix, it sounds good. i'm no professional, but i think that the acapella is a bit too loud

Whole song is loud, its clipping which causes distortion...you should never push audio into red zone...
p.s. Sam sneeds mixdown sucks, he is not audio engineer, he doesn't know anything bout mixing a track, he is producer so he pushes buttons on sampler not on mixing console...

yes it is loud ok, but i wanted to make some layers louder than they were before cause some of em wasnt that much recognizable, after i made them louder the acapella wasnt listenable anymore, so i needed to make the acapella louder too. maybe too loud need to go for it now i think!

but the layers i deleted always sounded annoying in my opinion, so i just used the instruments i liked and it sounded perfect for me, i love the bass the hat the pizz strings and the snare, so i choosed them and made them louder!

now i'm gonna make the acapella a lil bit quieter....

If you want i can post my full mixdown (not that solo mp3 demo version i did few month ago)
It was done in professional studio. and printed on 1/2" tape Studer A80 master recorder.

Since Immortal song was intended to go on All eyez on me, we replicated whole vibe and style of mixing and mastering, we even used same vintage gear so it sounds just like its from All Eyez on Me !
I placed Immortal.flac into my AEOM book 2 folder...

But i had to remove Sykes verse, because adlibs and lead verse is messed up...
