no.. there is no fading involved with what im talking about... i was more talking about the first track i could think of which was the doors "light my fire"... which is about 7 minutes long... with about a 2 minute instrumental between the 2 parts of the song... the insturmental part was shortend to only about 20 secs and the vocals pulled forward... not re recorded... and that was in the 60s

same thing was done for phil collins 1988 remix album which featured songs from his last album actually lengthened including gaps in between verses.... and that was in 88.. and again nothing re recorded...

Technically not impossible...there's a thing commonly called a "window edit" where the engineer splices out a specific track on a reel and moves it or replaces it.

But that's a HIGHLY specialized skill and also a sort of last-resort move. In most cases, it'd take waaaaaay less time to just retake a part than to perform such an edit.

There's a few ways, window editting is super hard tho! But fixing performances is best by getting it right 1st.

just to be clear on some sht... i purposely just took the last chorus out because i personally felt that the ending of kurupts verse was a good ending to the song... i could have corrected the last chorus and would have been very easy to do but like i said.. i like kurupts ending better...

did u think of making another one with the last hook on bar aswell? this version is very nice and like a said the quality is just exellent, but it feels like the song ends too quick. thats my thought

i dont know... as far as i know it originally ended like this before they pasted in the last chorus... so i thought i would keep it like this... plus i kinda like the ending..

its a good ending no doubt, it just feels like it ends really fast. if there is an hook after the last verse it dosent feel like its rushed. you used the acapella and looped the beat to make this track right?

nope... i just edited the actual og song... there was no need to use the pella on here... it wouldnt be hard to add a last chorus.. but like said... i just felt that it originally ended this way because the last chorus was just pasted in on the og so i just thought i would leave it...

really i thought you used the acapella since the quality of this version is way better than the leaked og version.

yall realize pac didnt record that off beat right? that would be the engineer/producer of the track.. he grouped the chorus vocal tracks and basically copied and pasted the same hook thru out the song.. so on the last one he just fucked up the placement... no way pac recorded the vox like that.. thats a production issue 100%

exactly... all you have to do is listen to the pella to hear that the last chorus is actually the first chorus pasted in.. you can hear the end of the pacs first verse in pacs headphones right before he starts the last chorus...

I listened to it, sounds way better to me. But i wonder if there would be a q boost if someone made a og-vibe with the instrumentals and studio pella? Maybe a own touch to it? Because the beat grown on me, usual dj beats or retail dont fit the track for me now Oo
