I think its a nice idea indeed, even im not a big fan of the enchanced type of mixes. If I need to choose between ogs or enhanced, i will always pick the og.

In my opinion we dont need to touch and change the original versions. They are perfect the way they are . Plus with 95% of these mixes the added sounds, sounds not good and natural with the og beat.

Respect your opinion, but I don't think it's very objective since you're an OG fan and you will always prefer the OG over anything else. Myself here, I prefer enhanced versions and remixes of songs that in my opinion sound dry in their original form. The enhanced version of songs like Lost Souls sounds x100 times better than the dry og, and that's a fact. It's more melodic, it has more energy, more power, and it brings more emotions, and that's why it will always beat the dry and repetitive og. Same goes for few other songs.

Ofcourse proffessionnal new mixdowns are great.

But I was talking about fanmade things. when you have the master reel of the songs, I would love to see new enhanced versions. But not the version/file we have added with some extra sounds in it.

You refering to the lost soulz on Nu mixx 2? That stuff was horrible , same with the other enhanced mixes on that album.

I like how this mix sounds. I still prefer the retail version over any other version of this song. I've yet to hear a perfect CDQ version that sounds better than the retail.

Try telling that to some of the dudes on here. Ridiculous how ignorant some people can be. Alot of the OG's have never been improved, but that doesn't mean they can't be. At the end of the day it comes down to production skill and to say that the people who produced the original versions of Tupac songs will never be/can't be surpassed by others is ridiculous to say the least.

I never said og's cant be improved. I was talking about Net producers that dont have acces to the reel masters. I dont like the way putting extra sounds over a wav/mp3 file of full songs we have. That sounds crappy, and the sounds, sounds not right alot of times.

They did the same for nu mixx 2, laying some extra sounds over the song itself, and not rebuilding it from the start like you can do with a master reel. With a master you can put out sounds, make the volume of sounds higher or lower etc etc. Laying down extra sounds over a already existed song sounds not natural.

In my opinion, let the professional producers with the masters doing it. But thats just my opinion. If people want to make this, do your thing. Alot people will like it , but not me.
