  • Good headphones?

Anybody suggest good decent headphones for me? Currently using in-ear ones which aren't for mixing at all.

Be careful not to damage your hearing. Spend max 2 hours with headphones on, medium level.

Options (high end to budget options)
    Audio Technica ATH-AD2000
    Sennheiser HD650
    Shure SRH940
    AKG K 701
    Audio-Technica ATH M50

Each of these are best in their price range. But i really wouldn't mix on headphones, only use them for reference.

You need good headphone amp (such as such as SPL Phonitor or Grace M902) and audio interface to make them useful for professional monitoring.

Be hard to find real good ones for that price. Gotta be 50quid + min I'd say.

pretty extraordinary price if one simply wants to beatmap stuff. I just need to know the real deal on the volumes and eq's and shit as well as the little details. [MENTION=747]Papaveli, i remember you sugested one a while ago when we was talking about mastering tracks, i lost the pm (mustve been deleted whilst clearing space)

I know it isn't minimum 50 quid thats for sure

these are the ones ive been using for the last year or so...

heres also a different version i have of them.. same sound...

this is a STEAL with the quality of music your getting for under 20$... its crazy!!.. strongly recommend these!!!

great bass and full sound... kinda lacks in treble just a bit compared to smaller sized headphones but hey... thats why you take them out to hear what you got on the big system to check how it sounds out the the regular system too.. lol.. so its all good...

Lowest i can recommend (without sacrificing both sound q. and build quality). these are ok.
