MATW (Audio Intro Remake)

I figured that if I was going to compile all the MATW originals and make a playlist I would need a intro, but because they're all originals I didn't want the retail intro so I thought I'd make my own. I used the remake DJ Cvince made of the actual intro beat (excellent job BTW, props 2 him) and tried to match actual news reports to the one's that were said in the intro. Most of what was said in the intro was more or less taken from real news reports anyway, they just reworded some things. The album did used an actual quote though from Inside Edition. I couldn't find any reports of him checking himself out of the hospital or entering under an assumed name so they're replaced with alternate reports. I don't think those things were actually reported; anyway you get the idea.

The ones that are not available I just leave off and use only the ones that are. Or, I replace them with something else. Or I kind of use a mixture of originals and official remixes or fan made OG vibes. It's all for fun, and really it's just my own thing.

I've been listing to the retail version for more than 15 years, sometimes it's nice to switch it up from time to time so it's not the same old same old. Obviously the retail trumps it and is the primary version for me, but like I said, after listing to it for 15 years it's nice to listen to it from a different perspective sometimes.

As much as we all love the retail ... it's arguably Pac's best album ... it's fun to mess around with the music ... it's all part of the enjoyment.
