  • Whats your favorite beat?

Just wondering what your favorite beats of all-time are? Doesn't have to be Pac.

Right now my favorite would have to be Amerikkka Eatz Itz Young. I think its rap perfection.

oh i liked the gotta survive way more, its for me perfection of an gangsta beat (ok ballad of a dead soulja too)

since shorty wanna be a thug is my alltime top1 main music track, i call this beat out. its soooo sentimental, and pacs flow is just so sentimental.

          further ones:
          eminem sing for the moment
          dmx damien
MJ - billie jean, dirty diana
          presley - in the ghetto

          and this one
He was a nice middle class nigga
But nobody knew the evil he'd do When he got a little bigger
Shorty Wanna Be A Thug - Tupac

            I'm the hysterical, lyrical miracle
            I'm the hypothetical, incredible....
I was encouraged to go straight at it and hit it dead on and not waste time trying to cover things..." - 2Pac

Group Home - Supa Star - DJ Premier's best beat imo.

DJ Quik - Let You Havit

An hour of Nas and DJ Premier. All their collaborations, plus a few Mr. Kennedy Mixes!

for pac i really like 2pac - tear drops and closed caskets, sounds like a song to get drunk to with your boys, and the chorus just sounds emotional.
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Probably a bunch I can't remember right now but off the top of my head:

                        2Pac - Made Niggaz
2Pac - Life of an Outlaw
Immortal Technique - One Remix (haunting)
T La Rock/Matronix - Bass Machine (way ahead of it's time)
                        Nas - 2nd Childhood
                        Jay Z - Ruler's Back

Not really a fan of beats. A great track doesn't even need a beat:

If I'd have to pic some beats that work no matter what, Soon as I Get Home would be one of em.

When I'm Gone beat. It fits really good with 2Pac and Eminem together. A masterpiece.
