What about the CPU specifically though? Other than the fact it's a CPU. I know just from that it would sound weird, but from your perspective what do you hear that turns it off? Might be the effect I put on it idk.

I smoothed out some of the artifacts and reduced the instruments whilst EQing the vocals up. Just something quick and dirty so you can remix this track properly and do it justice.

The thing is that yours is a cpu using "center channel extraction" "Karaoke Effect" or "Vocal cut" depending on the program you are using. Mine, I used the intrumental taken from the actual track Plus other adjustments.
