Hey guys just another short preview mix...

Bought a few beats and working some... here is one I bought specifically for this pella!! Still playing with the pella to adjust the sound perfectly so that I get all sounds right and hide all the rough sound from the CPU pella

Have you tried to EQ some of the roughness out of the pella? It sounds like it needs more low end to prevent it sounding so thin in the mix but overall a great concept and a step above hearing the same old pellas getting recycled.

not an authentic 2Pac feel at all. Nothing like the [MENTION=9019]Crezzpo mixtape thats soon to drop. This is a very disingenuous track, as it doesn't fit the theme of 2Pac.

Once in class a teacher asked if we liked what they had written; I didn't like it at all and disagreed with it. But you could tell that the teacher only wanted to hear "positive" feedback from the students. I kept quiet, because I disagreed wholeheartedly with the professor. In this case, 2pac had a style and in my opinion only remixes that support the genuine style of the known 2Pac should be applauded. Although diversity at times is good, this mix just doesn't fit what we think of as people who represent the essence of 2Pac.

Yeh I want to go for more mixing cpu's now and changing things up with the sound. I tried adjusting the mid and adding a light rumble removal... But sounds underwater. Going to keep playing around with this.... Want to perfect it

I agree though I think changing the theme works at times. Here I'm trying to create a sound around the slight clap on the pella. It's a dangerous pella to work with because the vibe of the retail track is so amazing and nothing will compare. I'm aiming more for a clean mix than something to blow u away

Really going to take what you've said here on board. Makes a lot of sense... I will try different beats but like I said have to work around the clap in the pella.... Going to be a hard one



PS GUYS THERE WILL BE 2 VERSIONS OF THIS MIX. A T-BIZZY TRIBUTE VERSION (who is an artist I've done work with over the years)... And a pac/(another artist) one

The mix sounds okay so far, the acapella needs eqing and doubling, can't wait to hear the final product!
