  • NY87 Efrain Mixdown - DOWNLOAD HQ

For your listening pleasure. : ) I've been sitting on this for a while. Play this on a good system to really hear it, the low end is a big part of the mix and you're not going to hear it on computer speakers or cheap headphones. You'll love this, sounds amazing in the car.

    Some notes on this mix:
    • I left out one of the Rhodes tracks on the reel along with that buzzing effect track
    • I added beat breaks and drops throughout so it sounds like an actual song
    • 2pac seems to have jumped on this record after it was recorded, and anyone who's taken a look at the reel knows his verse drops over Kurupt and Threat's outro, not to mention awkwardly after Daz's verse. I extended the song for this and made the beat under 2pac's verse drop out at several points for emphasis. Also removed an adlib layer of Daz's where he's yelling about faith in the beginning.

very good mixdown - i love it. sounds like something straight off of a retail album without the over-compression.

did you do one for starin'? i'm curious as to whether you did mixdowns for past reels such as don't u trust me, initiated, etc.
