What say breh breh? All the pieces are there, stick em together and make it happen
I'd like to impart some words that I've always lived by:
Mo' money, mo money, mo money.

We should remake the entire Rap Phenonemon mixtape with High Quality rips of instrumentals and proper acapellas

Vlad used that shitty rip of the New York, New York beat that was floating in the internet for years. Was too lazy to rip the promo.

Man I'd be happy with this one track getting remade before we get too ambitious. After all you know our DJs have a Dr Dre pace of working.

[MENTION=10086]Palmolive Thug. i know this remix is'nt in good quality and it's missin the military minds verse. but i just love the struggle continues verse on this beat also. it makes me so hyped, makes me wanna grab an AK on some guerrilla revolutionary shit lol

if u got the victory instrumental in good quality and the pellas, i would give it a go for u. it would be at the speed between dre and dj quick lol

Why do you want to remake it? You don't like the sound quality? Not all of the pieces are available though.....that Busta Rhymes hook was made specifically for that blend, wasn't it?

I don't like the tags, the Busta hook could be edited out of there or you could leave the proper one in plus the quality of the mix overall is ass.

I actually thought about doing it before, but I decided not to because it would sound funny if you go from a better quality sounding instrumental to the Busta chorus from the Vlad version, then back to the better instrumental. Even if you tried to match them a bit with EQ's, it'd still sound different.....trading old problems for new ones y'nahmean?

Then try it with the original Busta hook instead and keep it all retail quality just with Pac verses laid on top.

If it were easy to do and didn't take that much time, I would....but this blend would be time consuming, and I'm in the middle of 2 mixtape projects. Maybe one of the other DJ's here will be up for the task

Leave Dr Dre alone! Never fear though, we've got plenty more just like him here.

Just out of curiosity [MENTION=15581]djfilthyrich, tell me am I right on this workflow here:

                          1) Grab CDQ Victory Instrumental
                          2) Line it up and chop the chorus back in
                          3) Grab Military Minds acapella
                          4) Mix in first verse
                          5) Grab Struggle Continues acapella
                          6) Mix in second verse

And you're telling me that's time consuming? If you've got the files handy then up them please and I'll knock it together myself in around half an hour using just Sound Forge.

That's sort of correct, but you'd also have to match the tempos of the acapellas to the beats, cut them up, adjust any parts where there the acapella is offbeat, adjust volumes, adjust volume envelopes etc. So yes, that is time-consuming, at least if you're a perfectionist like myself. And like I said, I'm working on 2 projects simultaneously, so I don't have time to drop what I'm doing to record this. I'm sure one of these other DJ's can do it for you.
I don't have those acapellas, but I download all of my acapellas from this site...you just have to create an account.

loool i would of taken it a step further and made the busta rhymes chorus into a cpu acapella, just to put onto the new track, since his vocals already sound tweaked like hes speaking through a phone, there wouldn't be much damage done. reason i asked for the files was, im sure someone out there has a great quality victory instrumental, with the highest quality of pellas. since the pellas that i do have are over 10 years old probably 192kps mp3's. i would of thought there would be a better rip of them by now?
