If anyone actually feels that a DJ owes him something then I'd highly advise that person to look at himself in the mirror. Not the DJ.
Great points Captain Cockblock. As you were.

True, hard2kill with his year of patient waiting with the occasional post here and there to "refresh" memories is an example to us all. To me its just amusing that a load of y'all congregated here on a Pac forum and yet have the working pace of Dre. Ironic, don't you think? Aside from that perfection can't be rushed and everyone has their own pace.

I'd like to impart some words that I've always lived by:
Mo' money, mo money, mo money.

Where do you get this working pace thing from? Most of us, if any, haven't dropped release dates we couldn't honor. We never guaranteed constant remixes throughout the year. The Dre reference is exaggerated but yeah I agree, quality over quantity. It's not hard to see where the line is drawn between hacks and the "DJs" with talent.

No doubt, on the real some of the DJ mixes are the ultimate renditions of many Pac vocals solely due to the time, care and attention that was put into them by people such as yourself who were doing it for the love and not a placement, matter of fact I was just going to make a thread about the best DJ Pac mixes after rediscovering this dope tape:

As for the Dre/speed thing, like most things I post its an exaggerated point as subtly often doesn't work on the net but ultimately what it comes down to is this:

For 2 decades now we've seen some out of this world level reworks of Pac vocals by homegrown talent and even up until a few years back we were seeing intermittent drops (like the heat linked above) and then, all of a sudden, every single DJ at the same time decides to become a virtual hermit which was bizarre enough but added to the fact that [MENTION=943]MrMind had just dropped stacks and stacks of clean, never been mixed and good quality CG pellas (like AAR or Picture Me Rolling lately) that folks would've gone crazy for the opportunity to mix a while back and we hear crickets. Now I know as well as you do that creative people never stop create, they often just get to a point where they stop sharing, hence the Dr Dre comparisons.
I'd like to impart some words that I've always lived by:

I can't speak for everyone here that drops remixes/mixtapes but it's just life shit that becomes priority. I love mixing Pac vocals (and I actually do plan to drop a sequel to my Stay True tape) but there was a period in time where we were mixing the same vocals over and over that I think it just took the fun out of it for most of us so we moved on. Anyway, I'll be working on that tape with some of those unmixed vocals that [MENTION=943]MrMind has been dropping for us. Might even be my last mixtape I do as it will be my 6th tape I think. I'm still deciding on that.

Look forward to hearing it breh, with so many new old pellas on the scene I'm just surprised that it's so quiet.

The reason is that people want everything fast now. The technology is here to create shit we only dreamed of in the early 2000s. People have to understand that we have our priorities (Family, work and life) and 2pac related things are put on the back burner. Most of the shit I do is done during my breaks at work. I don’t do anything 2pac related at home.

I believe that is Joecool, if I am not mistaken.

but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

That's definitely the instrumental, but it seems like the guitar solo is missing at the end. It would be nice to have it blended in at the end.

Yeah would be nice if it could be revisited with the guitar solo.
