Theres a noticeable shift in quality between the two verses. EQ the levels of both versions before editing them together for a seamless mix.
I'd like to impart some words that I've always lived by:
Mo' money, mo money, mo money.

Yeah, you're right. I just listened to both versions side by side and not only are the mastering is totally different with the retail being crisp compared to the muddy feeling clean the vocals are also mixed totally differently with different effects on them which is really obvious when flicking from one to another. Ah well, good try

Yea never gonna be perfect without the studio pella but this one is better than previous attempts imo..... if you compare them to previous ones that were just cut and pasted together

There is a way you could do it. It would involve a bit of production to create something like this:

As Rule rapped over a remake beat with a different singer and sliced both versions together pretty well. Seeing as the clean version starts off with Pac going acapella you could use that as the jump off point and drop the explicit toward the end of his verse where it also goes acapella because the transition wouldn't be that obvious there.

The dude who made those Makaveli Solo Edits way back when had this ish down to a T by using pre echoes and other fade effects when he sliced up tracks so check those for inspiration. Also check out the various alts we have and see if any of those explicts are closer in the mix to the clean.

Both verses were recorded differently on different equipment in different studios. This is the best. Good enough for me.

Hello, this is Tupac, the person that you are trying to destroy with this bullshit you writing.
First of all, I have no problem with handicap people. Before you print some shit like this, you should check with me. Asshole.

Sounds like its pitched up slightly with the treble cranked.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
