Theres a even easier way than that. I just load up Fruity Loops (FL Studios) DAW, and use the Stereo Shaper VST. Heres the preset. It will automatically do it for you, no work needed. Just load the preset. I have it set perfectly to cancel out by inversion.

Dont do that though. That introduces artifacts. Its essentially similar, but degrades to a much higher extent. The stereo shaper way, leaves the least of any form of possible degrading.
