Gotta mention again that I wouldn't have been able to make this remix/remake/ogv without the help of [MENTION=943]MrMind

You are way too kind. At the end of the day it's all you. I'm always here to lend a helping hand whenever i can, though.

Do you do everything in reason? Or do you use other programs too then export to reason?

What I do is I'll open Pro Tools and import an acapella and whatever song I need to sample and piece together the portions needed to be sampled. After that I then slave Reason to Pro Tools by using a plug-in on Pro Tools called "Rewire" so that when I do the drums and add bass and other extra instruments they play in the Pro Tools session so that I don't have spend time exporting them from Reason to dump them into the Pro Tools session.

Thanks man I appreciate it. As simple of a beat "Pain" appears to be, it was actually very difficult trying to recapture the sound and the feeling.

A friend of mine asked me about how this remix came together so I sent him the 1st mix I did so I figured I'd post it here as well for those who wanna hear where I started the mix from (it's very rough and incomplete lol)

[MENTION=16810]murdaonyou had asked me for a download of the drumloop I recreated a while back, so I figure if anyone else wanted this so they wouldn't have to go the trouble of trying to recreate it, here's the WAV file (it's not perfect, bit close enough lol)

Pain (recreated drumloop / sample: Sing A Simple Song by Sly & The Family Stone)

                    Pain (Acapella... Somewhat lol)

[MENTION=1122]therealjyo posted a thread asking if there was a full acapella for Pain. As he and most of us know the only thing that seems to be available is just 2Pac's verses. So this here is my "cut & pasted" version (lmao) using various CPU's that our friend [MENTION=943]MrMind made to fill in the gaps. *Stretch's acapella is the "Clean Version". Out of all the CPU's it sounded the best to me. One day I might try it with the "Dirty Version".
