This turned out absolutely great!

The additional instrumentation and variations give this mix a fresh feeling with tons a of replay value despite being 7 minutes long. Not to mention the quality of the lyrics - this track feels like it was always a massive posse cut.

It's funny, last night (no pun intended lol) I tried stripping all the new elements away to see how it would sound the original way. It wasn't as energetic, of course just muting everything wasn't going to make it sound like the OG, I would have to mix/level the sample again to match the way the og had it EQ'd and take away the extra samples to really recapture the og's sound
