One thing I appreciate about your work- I can mix up your Death Row OGVs in one folder and your Pre-Row OGVs in another folder- and these "mixtapes" have a cohesive sound and feel to it. Creative, crisp, not over the top but fresh.
At this point, I would like to see you be given a closed sticky thread at the top of this forum for your "finished" mixes with download links and your infamous background commentary of the vision behind the track and what you did to achieve the end result.
Looking forward to the download link for this OGV to add to my "Wizzattz Mixtape".

So whenever I do an OG Vibe I always go back and listen to the original producer's production and study the beat he's rapping on to get a feel for how he rides the beat and pay very close attention to the nuances of the beat so I can get an understanding of how I need to go about recreating the beat. Now technically, in a "Hip-Hop" sense, I'm actually not producing for 2Pac, cuz I'm recreating other producers beats, not putting 2Pac vocals on my own original beats, but in the "Tradional" sense of the word, I am, in a Quincy Jones-ish type of way (Michael Jackson's original demo for "Billie Jean" vs. the polished final mix that ended up on the album) or like the 2Pac tracks that kept most of the original production intact with lil extra things added to it on the R U Still Down album. I stroooooongly feel when that way of producing for 2Pac (or any artist's work released posthumously) was/is abandoned, that slowly kills them again... Not to say "all" new productions are bad, sometimes new productions are actually pretty good. (I actually liked the new production for "Resist The Temptation") but most of the time, in my opinion, it just doesn't feel or sound right. I definitely appreciate your comment about a closed sticky thread... Well, how was this for yet another "infamous" commentary? lmao When I read that part I busted out laughing and thought "heeeeey, wait a minute... isn't the word "infamous" a bad thing?" I often shoot jabs at myself about my commentary too cuz that shit be looooong as fuck lmao. I write it so long for 2 reasons: 1. I figure individuals will ask me about a mix, so instead of answering each one, let me just write an "article" at the top of the post lmao. 2. Whenever I bought a "PHYSICAL" copy of a "Greatest Hits" or a "Digitally Remastered" album by an artist I used to love reading the new liner notes about the making of the songs, so I like to write liner notes for my OG Vibes. Sometimes I write them for myself too as a "note to self" so that if someone ask me about a mix I can either refer them to that or reread it myself to refresh my memory to give them an answer if a lot of time had passed.
