    Both mixes are great...

The OG mix (version 1) sounds amazing
=> "remastered", a solid improvement over what we've been bumping to date.

The OG Vibe Remix (version 2) breaths life into the song.
=> updated and fresh ... I would have been ok with something like this being put Better Days.

Looking forward to downloading and bumping both mixes on da stereo.

IMO, your mixes have a consistency that would make for a tight double album mixtape
    CD 1: OG Vibes
    CD 2: OG Vibe Remixes
Any plans of putting out a mixtape with some sound equalization and artwork?

I'm not exactly sure if i would do a "double disc" type of thing, but with all the various mixes that i have made for individual songs from trying to make that 1 good mix, it might be possible. As far as "Artwork", I might just use a random 2Pac picture and try to find the font that was used for his name like it was on MATW and AEOM for the name & title of the album/mixtape. There is a picture of 2Pac in particular that i really like that was part of the Chi Modu photoshoot that Amaru picked from for it's Better Dayz album pic.

(2Pac's expression in this pic here to me seems to be an expression of excitement or surprise, which is what i feel would visually describe this mixtape.)
Nothing too extravagant like auto tracing or enhancing pictures or cropping him out of a picture/background and adding all kinds of fancy graphics. Like the mixes, I would like to keep it close to how it would've been. Sound Equalization, I'm tweaking some of the older mixes by switching out instruments, but for the most part i might leave everything else (the songs I've done recently) the same. Of course when I get ready to put everything together I'll remove hi-hat metronome intros from song and i may try to make songs segue into each other with various 2Pac interviews, Instrumental Remakes as interludes and some of the extended intro mixes (i.e. How Do U Want It) I really dont like mastering programs cuz the end result always end up not sounding like how i made it. (or prefer it rather) I can see why other people like that kind of stuff, but if i was to do something like that, I'd rather make the adjustments myself to make sure it's tweaked in a way that retains the sound the way i made it. (However I do like the [MENTION=943]MrMind Remasters I've heard over the years, so if he were to do it, i'd have no problem.)

Thanks for asking. Your questions and questions like this are what get me to thinking over how I want to go about putting this together. You may or may not have read on other post i've made that when I first started doing Instrumental Remakes, Remixes and OG Vibes that it was never really my intention to be doing it for this long or to this extent. (Especially a Mixtape) but over the years as a 2Pac fan myself, I've been waiting forever (I'm sure plenty of other fans have too.) for another 2Pac album to be offically released in the same fashion (OG, OG Enhanced or Remixed with the OG in mind with maybe a few new ideas here and there.) of RUSD or Still I Rise. Like "Sonic Mania", I guess it's up to the "fans" to do that at this point. Reviewing the comments, opinions, suggestions, etc from people for my mixes expands the scope of my view over it all. Thanks again.

Lol there's an inside joke that i say to folks I do music with and have grown up with outside of the internet that I wanted to say to some of yall, but i felt it might come off as me being arrogant, an asshole or as a diss... "You'll like it later when I'm done."
Lol it also reminds me of a "comeback/reply" that my best friend and fellow artist says to me when he feels I'm doing too much to a mix and wants me to pull back a little... "Alright Quincy" (Quincy Jones/Thriller reference)

Thanks for the superb response. Detailed and logical.

Like you, I was wishful for a new Pac release similar to RUSD and SIR.
Unlike you, I do not have the skills to create a mixtape that could rival anything the estate could/would release.

So, I'm left hoping that someone with your ear and vision for Pac's music does the hard lifting ... lol

At the end of the day, I'm appreciative for whatever you decide to share.

Man, both these versions sound awesome! I really like the different variations in Version 2. Makes it really unique and not your typical OG Vibe. I also really the effects you put on Jewell's and Danny Boy's vocals. They stand out a lot more than before. I'd love it if you could try a mix for Never Be Peace as the 2 versions we have of the OG aren't as good as I feel they should be.
