[MENTION=1364]Joecool and I had been in talks about working on a remix for "U Can Call", but here's the issue... Whenever the vocals are extracted for some reason it extracts the lil high pitched synth along with it. (ugh) If anyone has an acapella extraction without all the artifacts from the OG, please send it my way. Also I remember reading somewhere on google a handwritten tracklist and guest appearances list that 2Pac wanted for an album (I think it was an early draft for AEOM) and I noticed R. Kelly was one of the names listed for possible guest. Now as far as R. Kelly's personal life I'd rather not focus on that cuz that's a whole other subject, but to imagine what that collaboration would've been like using the beat for "Your Body's Callin'.
For this draft I used multiple acapellas from Joecool, [MENTION=943]MrMind and @Nozzy-E. As far as the beat I sampled the bridge section of "Your Body's Callin'" since it's the only part of the song that is close to an instrumental, but it does have R. Kelly saying the "I'm listening baby / I hear ya callin' me" line on repeat. I filtered the sample so I could replay the bass line and synth whistle/worm. I also added a Johnny J kick and hihats to the mix to give the beat a more 2Pac/Johnny J vibe.
