Drums are pretty kool. Sounds like its being played live with those drums. Bit repetitive the beat as with the original. I can understand how a person can go off it. Should of been a verse from someone else at least on this song originally. Also more added to the construct of the song because it can sound very repetitive. Some people who have remade OG Vibes have tried to add more to the song because of this with the music. Decent remake though. I do like the live feel of those drums. Gives it a different feel. This song really is focused around 2pacs flow of lyrics.

Sure. Well like I said in the description it first started out as as an idea [MENTION=1364]Joecool and I were discussing, so I made a rough draft on 12/13/20, but at that time the results weren't that good to me mainly because I couldn't get the drums right, particularly the snare, so I set it aside until I either found a better snare or found out what the actual sample was. I tried to base it as close to the OG as I could minus the blank verse section where Stretch is supposed to be. I had to remake the bass line and sample "How'd I Know That Love Would Slip Away" by Deniece Williams and the high hats from "U Can Be Touched" (OG)

I always wondered if Johnny J really produced the OG, because it doesn't sound like a JJ's beat...
I wonder that too, but apparently it's said that he did.
