This is just something I was playing around with this morning. There's a piece of music in Above The Rim that sometimes play when Tom "Ol' Shep" Shepard (Leon) is on screen that I really like and wish was on the soundtrack, but for some reason is not on it. (At least that I know of) It sounds like an interpolation of "Cherish The Day" by Sade. The part that I sampled is right after where Flip (Bernie Mac) says "They can't erase what we were maaan..." where Ol' Shep pours himself a cup of coffee. I kept in, yet lowered an eq'd the Earl Klugh "Living Inside Your Love" arrangement I had going in my "25th Anniversary Remix/OG Vibe" as a supporting instrument. I replayed the bass line of the I guess could be referred to as "Ol' Shep's Theme" to have longer notes using the same bass line instrument I used to emulate "Pain's" bass line.
Whether I finish this or not I don't know, Maybe...
Here's the draft
