Thought I might make a tape for fun. Here's some snippets from some of the mixes.

Here's a concept cover. May or may not be the final one. Was going for a money look, but not to the point where it was exactly like a bill. Kind of have that bill feel without actually being a bill. Hence the name "Legal Tender".

Here are my first impressions.

Thugz Mansion sounds cool, there's a part where Pac goes a little off beat, after that you fixed it. I don't like Niggaz Nature. Breathin' is dope, I like the synth part too, fits well. Komradz is alright, not a big fan of that song though (and it sounds a little low quality). M.O.B. is interesting, I'd check the full one when it comes out. First 2 Bomb has some old school sounding, it's great. Don't Fuck with a Killa is also interesting, have to hear the full one though. Crooked Nigga 2's beat is funny haha, but somehow they fit together with the beat. I don't like the intro part of 16 on Death Row, other than that it sounds nice.

In overall it sounds interesting, some new sounding stuff, gonna check the tape when you drop it.

Thanks for the feedback. Always good to get another perspective, otherwise it's only one sided. My side. These are just rough ideas at the moment to see what works and what doesn't. Then I'll go back and adjust them. Like Thugz Mansion and Komradz. I'll probably drop Nigga Nature, I'm not really feeling that one either. 16 On Death Row is kind of an experiment. The beat is pretty basic right now, it's just a drum track I put together. I wanted to try something different with the hook, make a custom one instead of using the original. But I guess it doesn't really work. I'll probably dropped that too. What's funny though is my kids actually like it. I don't play them 2pac because of some of the language, but they heard my custom hook I did and seemed to like it they were singing it afterwards. lol. A while later my son said to me "can you play that 16 song again?", I laughed.

Yeah the beat for Crooked Nigga Too is funny, it's from a female rapper named Boss from the 90s. I actually really like her album "Born Ganstaz" and the beats on it so I thought I'd try and mix Pac with some of them. I have a few mixes with Pac and her beats. Some I got the actual instrumental and some I just lopped from her album.
