it can be usable for somethings (snare, background adlibs, hi hat, crash, sometimes bass guitar and kick drum) but i prefer real thing over any plugin.sigpicComment

They are virtual instruments, sample libraries, emulations of vintage hardware, or effects.
You need DAW that can host third party plugins (VSTs, AU, etc etc).
I know you use Reason, but thats only DAW/sequencer thats is not expandable.sigpicComment
