The Synclavier was pretty damm sophisticated for a keyboard in 86, gee, lol I can't knock the computer sounds, I even still like hearing 2 bit chip sounds in music, it's a beauty mate!

Synclavier was introduced in '79, it was first high fidelity keyboard rompler (kinda like motif of early 80s but even better). Synclavier was used on Michel Jackson's "Thriller" album. The intro sound from "Beat It" - its a stock patch from Synclavier.
The cost of Synclavier was over 250.000 USD !!!sigpic

Yeah but they only ever probably sold 3 dozen units, and you'd only find them now in a museum now, haha
