  • Your 2012 gear wishlist.

Lets keep it realistic please, no dream-list, just list about gear you plan to get in near future.

With all the new gear thats announced and promoted at current AES 2K11 show, only few mics and mic preamps caught my attention and I'm looking forward to try them out as soon as they become available retail:

WunderAudio CM67 - I want to hear how this clone compares against my vintage U67, but I know it wont disappoint me, their CM7 is terrific mic.

Black Box Analog Design Preamp - This is, in my opinion most interesting product at AES show this year, it has some revolutionary functions, looking forward to try it out, i need some tube-preamps in my rack

New monitors: im stuck between ATC SCM25A Pro, Focal SM9 and Barefoot TheMicroMain 27 to replace my current Focal Twin 6 monitors.

    Thats all for new products.
I'm still hunting few vintage hardwares, such as Focusrite ISA 110.

OMG, someone offered it to me like 1 week ago, so I took it for a tryout for few days. It was a fuckin hell to assign each pad and each knob to a particular function, and when I finally did it, I found out I have a latency problem when I try to record something. Anyway, after messing with it for a few days, decided not to buy it although the price was great and also the reviews.... I guess it's just not my thing, but it was kinda fun exploring it.

Did you try to lower ASIO buffer size (to 64 or 128 samples) in your audio interface / daw settings?

[MENTION=2814]JayyRemixx AKAI MPD is scam IMO, very bad pads (compared to MPCs) - NI Maschine Mikro is much better investment, alot better interface, pads, functionality and workflow http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CHEQ8wIwAA

Yep, that's the first thing I tryed but the minimum it allowed me is 256 and it can't go any lower than that.
