crazy how these sounds are heavily used today, even by Timbo & shit, the "super producers"

Nexus is filled with all these type of sounds, I just didn't know it all started then

I know what you mean, Motifs, Fantoms, VSTs, all their libraries just resembles old school sounds but nothing sounds quiet good as real Jupiter 8, Moog Model D, Prophet, etc, hence their high price on second-hand market.
70s and 80s synths cannot be duplicated by digital emulations and VSTs, and i wish they could, it would save me some money.

I'm sure they could, they just need to create the right conversion.

lol they been trying for almost a decade, tried all emulations available, and left with impression that they are just emulations with pretty GUI, far from bad but they dint made me want to sell the hardware.
Nothing like real Moog or Jupiter. Even newest reincarnation from Moog (Voyager) doesn't sound good as original '71 model (Model D) but still better then plugin.

That guitar like sound made me orgasm

edit: at 4:40, that knob for tempo was just a knob without numbers and shit. So im guessing thats why back then the bpm's of the songs were like 112.394 and not just 112?
