thanks for the video, looks like the big boys use pro tools, i may consider getting it but i heard you have to use their equipment, if so thats a turn off. i like how he's just looking at the animation whilst making the beat, its a great idea and a way to have your mind clutched in total inspiration, i can imagine that gangsta shit ill be making with fucking afro samurai ripping apart the bad guys. rza did a great fucking job with the soundtrack

It doesn't matter what big dogs use, its just matter of preference.
Pro Tools is not good with virtual instruments and as a sequencer, and it still doesn't support 64 bit so its limited of using only 4 GB ram and thats pretty limiting when it comes to using big VI libraries.

Few years ago, Pro Tools was only used DAW in big studios around the world, so people who worked in their homes and later mixed in big studios had to use Pro Tools in order to open up the project file in other studio. And Pro Tools works great with video, thats why he used it for this soundtrack.

And you don't need Digidesign interface in order to run PT, they released Native version one year ago.

Oh, so Pro Tools or more something for the people who have the hardware shit that has the sounds (motif, that korg thing, fantom shit) hence it sucks for VI Libraries.
I considered gettng it because Im not extremely familiar with FL Studio yet and I think I have time do master a different DAW lol
