I use Exact Audio Copy which is free. You just go to "Tools" and select "Compress Wavs". If you want to make mp3 files then make sure you use the LAME codec. It is the best mp3 codec there is.

Oh shit yeah I use that to rip the audio from my cd's.
Didnt notice that option going to give it a go. The quality varies from different programs which makes me paranoid.

Any audio recording/editing software does this job fine. Just make sure it uses mp3 LAME encoder.

                  Fuck your homo software..

                  Put that shit in iTunes
                  Right click song
                  Click "Convert to MP3"
                  Do that
                  Wait a second
It makes the bludumpt noise you know?
Then it will show the MP3 in your library
Take that shit and do with it as you please.
Then send $50 to my paypal
                  Go walk your dog.
