  • Dr Dre - The Art Of Beat Jacking

Now if you don't think the chord structure & rhythm is exactly the same as Dr Dre's Kush, AS well as the breakdown, then you're deaf, and your opinion don't mean nothing & belong here.

I still love Dre, I respect him, especially for the Hologram thing, but this is just history repeating itself lol

This is the song by some random fools from 2007 (Uploaded by mystoandpizzi on Feb 6, 2007)

& this is Dr Dre's Kush from 2010

DJ Khalil produced Kush, sooo that means Khalil jacked this shit, not Dre.. not saying Dre hasn't slapped his name on something that's not his but still, facts are facts.

^ I know it says that, but I don't believe it, it has Dr Dre's sound to it, Khalil doesn't produce beats that have Dr Dre's sound & formula.

[MENTION=2072]Dj Tricki It sounds like a Dre beat because Dre mixed it that way, just like The Recipe sounds like a Dre beat but is produced by Scoop. There's been some times where Khalil has imitated Dre's style. Dre hasn't jacked shit all his career though, people just like to nitpick.

I have a old ass beat from 2006 that has similar progressions I guess they stole from me, and dre stole from them... this is just dumb, this is hip hop, alot of beats have similar progressions, I hear beats all the time and think they stole my progressions, but I like to thinking as great minds think alike.

Lol. Dre claimed one of Daz's beats once, true story, 2Pac even said this, you wouldn't go as far to call him a liar would you? Big Gov would also tell you that Sam Sneed was robbed by Dre for producer credits on Natural Born Killaz

Nah you're just being stupid and taking things out of context, I never said chord progressions were stealing someone else's work, I said the chord STRUCTURE and rhythm.

I'm not denying it but he hasn't built a career based on doing shit like that. I know the Got My Mind Made Up story and I believe its true. There's all kinds of stories though, like how some Doggystyle beats weren't Dre's ideas but then you got Snoop Dogg himself stating some of those stories are lies.

Dre's even gone so far as to produce something and give other people the credit for it. Example: Havoc's beat on Game's The Documentary. Havoc lost the files but since Dre liked it so much, he recreated the beat perfectly and gave Havoc all the credit, no co-producer credit even though he had the right to do so. I'm just saying, people like to nitpick when the person has a whole career that outmatches its flaws.
