  • what DAW do you guys suggest for windows that allows third party plug-ins?

I wanted to use logic but obviously thats for mac os.
FL i use to use. but i want to work with something more "professional."
I heard reason doesn't allow you to use third party plug-ins.
so im left with cubase or going back to FL?
Is there any other that you guys can recommend. as well as that DAW having loads of tutorials internet?

i'm into sampling as well as playin my own shit on keyboard.

    To be honest..

    Fl Studio is super profesional..

It just got a bad name because everyone uses it to make shit beats & wack remixes..

Friend of mine got a deal while making beats in fl studio..

    So it depends on you..

yup i've heard its also got better. but thats why i said "professional" in speech marks as bunny ears lol. because i feel like maybe i should try another program? that is also considered professional without that stigma from fl? lol, ty for your input though bro

I use ProTools or Audacity for mixing.
Now days, pretty much anyone will do the job. Good luck with your search.

Stick to FL Studio bro, its not the DAW its the users. People just get on youtube and make crap beats because most of them don't take the time to learn the program and devote themselves to the craft.

If you do want to try another DAW, i'd say Ableton Live because its fairly easy even though it does have a slight learning curve which you'll get adjusted to within a day of solid use. I use Logic Pro and Ableton Live on my Mac, used to use FL when I had a windows laptop. Reason is great too because it has some sweet sounds built in. I actually have all 3, Logic, Ableton and Reason because its great to have different instruments and stuff so you can go into the program and bounce your ideas around but mainly i'll use Logic as I'm still learning it and don't have a full understanding of the DAW because i've been making beats with Ableton since 2014. You never do know everything and theres always something to learn, remember that.

There's a few others which are said to be very good as listed above by 2psah but I haven't tried any, just seen videos of them.

But, at the end of the day use what you find comfortable. If you like FL studio, stick with it. Your equipment is your best friend. All the best!!

I use logic but it defiantly, depends on the user. I think logic cubase and fl are good.
A combination of logic and fl would be great, but they dont run on the same system thats bad.
