  • Best MIXING software for mixing reels??

I got the layers for songs like Rearview, Let's Get Ready 2 Rumble, etc but whenever I use something like BandLabPro on my phone, it sounds dope as fuck when I mixed everything but when I export/render it, it all goes to shit!

I'm from the early 2000's and used to using Sonic ACID PRO, etc. but what do y'all recommend for mixing? I got a Surface Book 3 with the Surface Dial control, etc. and would love to put it to use!

First of all you need either studio reference monitors or headphones. You can use whatever good program you'd like, that is just preference as long as it's a legit app. FL Studio, Pro Tools, etc. Shit, even Cool Edit Pro if you'd like as long as it is legit.

but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

I do have some nice "sennheiser headphones" but interested in what other mixing software. Also some of these reel layers contain a "guide" track or something? If I open it, its just a loud screech sound like dial-up modem back in the days. Someone said its to sync all the layers? What software supports that?

Idk abt that then homie. But make sure your headphones are for reference use though. Hopefully someone else can help you out brother.

I like Adobe Audacity a lot for mixing stems. I think it evolved from Cool Edit Pro 2 before Adobe adopted it. You can give every layer multiple effects without editing the original file. Use both stereo speakers and headphones for mastering

Looking forward to your results all though I think my mixdown of LGIO crushed everything else so far

That’s an SMPTE signal. They used it for syncing multiple reels together so they could have more than 24 tracks in a song. Just delete or mute that track, it’s not of any use for what you’re doing.
