Wow. Good work... I like it, the violin is different and projects that documentary type vibe. Good for a story telling type mix if someone is going for that.

It's not looped at all, and the melody differs making the beat entertaining to listen to and not dull


Maybe for a bit more of an edge/rawness I think have a harder drum clap. One that really sounds street. Would just give it another edge and feel to the track...

The violin has that finesse feel and the drug would make it raw

the strings sound a little offbeat.

i actually like that choppy guitar sample, but it doesn't flow right. sounds like the sample file was corrupted. i think you should chop it up harder to make it more obvious for the listeners. check this emancipator track here, he did something similar
