#DJS I have a Switch-Up Request. Basically the idea is mixing the Grab The Mic beat with the Thru My Rearview pella. I'd love to hear this kinda mix some day soon hopefully.
First let's reminisce on the original:
Things needed to bring this Switch-Up to life:
Mommy, What's A Gravedigga? (RZA Mix Instrumental) (1995) - http://www26.zippyshare.com/v/Agjw0g8l/file.html (Thanks to [MENTION=1052]Esoteric for the hookup)
^^ This beat is nearly identical to 2Pac's beat but this is slowed down. You can speed up the beat to match the tempo.
2Pac - Starin Thru My Rearview (Studio Acapella) << Surely you DJs must have this. [MENTION=1348]Creation [MENTION=842]D-Ace [MENTION=7122]djmoey [MENTION=2072]KW [MENTION=306]KREW [MENTION=1133]Rock [MENTION=2009]VenomRx
.
.
.
The 3 samples used in Grab The Mic:
Rakim - Microphone Fiend - http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/xQ961Yqi/file.html
^^ Here you can capture the I TRY TO GRAB THE MIC AND SAY YES Y'ALL part 30 seconds into the song.
^^ Then right after that we've got the SOMEBODY IN THE HOUSE SAY YEAAAH sample from public enemy.
Then finally the 3rd sample from Slick Rick TIC TOCK YA DONT STOP the same one used on 2Pac's song. Can be heard exactly around 4:34.
I really hope this Switch-Up is do-able. It'll be like having the CDQ of Grab The Mic ... Sort of.
