  • Nate Dogg's California Home Foreclosed On Two Days After Death

Following his shocking death last month, financial problems for the late Nate Dogg surfaced this week, which reveal that his home was foreclosed on just two days after passing.

According to TMZ, the rapper's home in Pomona, Calif. fell into foreclosure after months of non-payment. Nate (real name: Nathaniel Hale) fell behind on mortgage payments, owing $5,924 to his the lender.

According to the docs, Nate hadn't made a payment on the home since December 2010.

Keep in mind, however, Nate had been in therapy for the past two years, recovering from two strokes he suffered in 2007 and 2008.

Other reports said that Nate's neighbors say he had not been living in his Pomona resident for about a year and a half, but used to write and record music there, and entertain friends such as Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams.

Nate, 41, passed away on March 15, stunning the music community. His family later revealed that his death was likely a result of complications from the strokes he suffered years before.

Snoop Dogg has set up a memorial trust benefiting Nate Dogg's children, in which fans and peers are able to make donations to ensure the financial security of the late singer's children. For more, info visit SnoopDogg.com.

He was laid to rest in late March during a public ceremony in Long Beach, Calif., drawing friends and peers such as Snoop DOg, DJ Quik, Game, Mack 10, WC, and several others.

Athletes and celebrities, not being a fool or racist, but in general, some of them don't know how to spend their money. Scottie Pippen is broke, Nate Dogg, and I can guarantee you there are many more rappers that don't say it but are in debt or in a similar situation, not paying etc. They don't have the money management skills.
